Equine Health Record

E-mail Print

Canadian horse owners and custodians are urged to implement horse health record keeping protocols immediately. As a result of concern by the European Commission and others with respect to pharmaceutical residues in consumable meat it has become very important to introduce a more intensive health record keeping protocol for all horses regardless of the current use of the horse.

Changes in CFIA regulations are being considered and as well concerns of the spread of infectious diseases are the driving forces in this initiative.

Thanks to Wyeth for the downloadable health record sample for your convenience.
