Get to Know the Equine Code of Practice Before You Comment
The draft Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Equines is now open for public comment. This Code sets national standards for the care and welfare of equine in Canada.
Before submitting comments, it is important to become familiar with the existing Code. The online HWAC Code training helps participants understand the document and provides essential context before offering feedback.
You may also choose to download or print the full draft version for review. Please note that feedback on the draft Code will only be accepted through the official online comment system.
